About the training program:
We understand that job hunting can be stressful with the amount of competitors that are all fighting for that one position and even with the knowledge, without experience, the chances are slim. Our training program has been designed for candidates to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to help make you stand you out from the crowd. We use live client data for you to gain real practical experience working with client and company data rather than other training organisations who use age old set examples. Get trained by a real accounting practice.
We offer 6 different programs catering to all different levels of knowledge and experiences. Whether you are a fresh graduate with no experience or an individual with some accounting/bookkeeping experience who is looking to gain more diverse accounting/bookkeeping experience to really make you stand out, there is 2 Sub courses which can be done separately.
- Taxation Basic (Software: Reckon Elite or equivalent)
3 Sessions
5 Students per class minimum
The Taxation Basic program is designed to teach all aspects which are found in individual tax returns, including those who are working under Personal Service Income and as Sole Traders. Components such as Rental property, depreciation, deductions, CGT, Tax offsets, exempt income, Medicare and HECS will also be covered.
- Taxation Advanced (Software: Reckon Elite or equivalent)
3 Sessions

- Beginners Job Ready Training Program (Software: Reckon Elite & Reckon Accounts)
The Beginners Job Ready Training is the perfect mixture of basic accounting and basic bookkeeping to really help make you stand out from the crowd, it is a combined course of Taxation Basic and Bookkeeping Basic designed especially for Graduates or individuals with no experience.
- Advanced Job Ready Training Program (Software: Reckon Elite, Reckon Accounts, MYOB)
A more advanced course for those who have the basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge but would like to increase their knowledge base and have an understanding of more complicated accounting/bookkeeping work. A combinatino of Taxation Advanced and Bookkeeping Advanced, this course is aimed for those who are working in or seeking to work in an accounting/bookkeeping position and would like to advance their skills.
- Bookkeeping Basic (Software: Reckon Accounts)

Whether you are a student wanting to gain an advantage by gaining the experience and knowledge of basic bookkeeping or a business owner wanting to learn how to do the bookkeeping yourself, this course will give you all the fundamental to learn the basics of learning the different aspects of bookkeeping such as how to process payroll, prepare Business Activity Statements, processing account receivable/payable and how to reconcile your bank account.
- Bookkeeping Advanced (Software: Reckon Accounts, MYOB)
7 Sessions

Bookkeeping Advanced is aimed at those who have completed Bookkeeping Basic but would like to learn the more challenging aspects found in bookkeeping such as adjustments for bad debts, prepaid expenses, GST expenses, recording depreciation on assets, entering payroll data, creating payslips, generating PAYG summaries, creating empdupe files, preparing BAS reports, preparing BAS’s.

Xero is an internationally recognised cloud based accounting system popular for its simplicity and ease of use. It is also the first accounting software to utilise its online bank feed meaning there is a lot of time saved because the bank statement is updated onto the cloud system instantly. Unfortunately many accountants will refuse to take on clients who uses Xero as they themselves, do not understand the fundamentals of how to use it to its full potential.
The Xero course is aimed at those who specifically want training in Xero as well as those who would like to expand their knowledge through the use of being able to successfully use multiple bookkeeping softwares for their clients.
- Quickbooks Online

Learn the fundamentals of using Quickbooks to its full potential, from learning how to set up accounts to being able to reconcile accounts. Similar to Xero, Quickbooks offers a cloud based accounting system and is internationally recognised because of its ease of access. Our course is aimed for anyone who wants to learn how to use Quickbooks, whether you are a student, or an accountant/bookkeeper wanting to expand your knowledge through the use of multiple bookkeeping softwares.
